	CIVIL SERVICE: Exams and establishment of eligibility lists for the Town of Niskayuna is the responsibility of the Schenectady County Department of Civil Service. RESPONSIBILITIES: Payrolls and personnel changes are certified to assure that all appointments and changes are in accordance with the law. Conducts hearings and appeals in connection with such matters as classification, examinations, disciplinary actions, etc.; investigates all matters of Civil Service Law and Rules.
