RESOLUTION NO. 2008 - 100
A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT A PART-TIME ON-CALL CIVILIAN POLICE DISPATCHER
The following resolution was offered by Councilwoman Kasper
who moved its adoption, and seconded by
BE IT ENACTED, by the Town Board of the Town of Niskayuna, as follows:
WHEREAS, the Chief of Police stated that from time to time the need arises for the services of part-time civilian police dispatchers due to vacations or illness, and
WHEREAS, the Chief has recommended the appointment of a part-time on-call dispatcher to fulfill those needs, and
WHEREAS, the Police, Health and Safety Committee concurs with that recommendation,
NOW THEREFORE, be it
RESOLVED, that this Town Board does hereby appoint Caitlin Bushnell, who resides at 2224 Plum Street, Niskayuna, NY 12309, to the position of part-time on-call Civilian Police Dispatcher, for assignment on an as-needed basis, at a rate of compensation of $16.8831 per hour, without benefits, effective April 3, 2008, and it is
FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution supersedes Resolution 2008-74 previously enacted by this Town Board on April 10, 2008.
