 Counselor-in-Training Program for Summer Playground Camp

 For children who are Niskayuna Town Residents entering 8th grade or older. Upon completion of the CIT program, you will receive a completion certificate and a performance evaluation.    

  Two programs sessions, each for 3 weeks from 9am to 12pm as follows:
Session 1: July 7-11 (At Town Hall) and July 14-18 & July 21-25 (at Camp)
Session 2: July 21-25 (At Town Hall) and July 28-Aug 1 & Aug 4-8 (at Camp)
Fee: $100 per session.
Each session will include time spent in group training at Niskayuna Town Hall, onsite training at the individual camp locations (River Road, Blatnick, Hillside, Van Antwerp, or Avon Crest), and outdoor leadership experiences with fellow CIT’s.
The goals of our program are to:
•Learn and practice the skills needed to become successful counselors •Learn about child development and group dynamics.
•Gain leadership and activity planning skills •Have fun!

Space is limited to 20 participants per session, so do not delay!

Friday, April 18th
10:00am - parade around the circle starts
Children can have their picture taken with the bunny! A small bag of candy will be given to each child.  
Rain or Shine and no registration necessary!

What you need to know and what every parent wants in a safe and responsible babysitter! Care for children and infants; Make good decisions and solve problems; Keep the children you baby-sit and yourself safe; Handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses and household accidents and much more!
Space is limited to 20, so register early!

Bridget Daoust - NHS JV Field Hockey Coach
An opportunity for all athletes interested in learning the skills, history and game of field hockey. The field hockey youth program is to open to all girls’ grades 3rd through 6th and during each session we will focus on skill development, strategies and field hockey drills and scrimmages.

2014 Niskayuna Girls Recreation Softball League
The League is open to any girl in grades K-9 that resides in Niskayuna or attends a Niskayuna school.
This year the cost will be $85 per player for all divisions
(includes a team shirt, visor and celebration).
All practices and games are at River Road Park
The division breakdown and playing times are as follows:

6U (grades K-1) ~ Mondays 6pm and Saturdays 9am

8U (Grades 2 & 3) ~ Tuesdays 6pm and Saturdays 9am

10U (Grades 4 & 5) ~ Wednesdays 6pm and Saturdays 11am

15U (Grades 6 - 9) ~  Thursdays 6pm and Saturdays 11am

Registration between March 1st and March 31th, the regular cost ($85)applies. Any registration received after March 31th will be assessed a late fee of $25. In addition, there will a $5 discount this year for those families that register a second child to play and $10 discount for any other siblings. In order to receive the family discount, registration for multiples players must occur at the same time (sorry, no exceptions)
