The Town of Niskayuna Recreation Department, located in the Niskayuna Community Center, at 2682 Aqueduct Road, Niskayuna, provides year-round recreation programs for youth, adults and senior citizens. Seasonal program flyers are distributed to Niskayuna School District students and are available at the Community Center and Niskayuna Town Hall. In addition, the Town operates "The Best Driving Range in the Capital District" voted by the Albany Times Union, and an outdoor skate park for roller blade and skateboard users, both located in Jeff Blatnick Park.
The Niskayuna Senior Center
Headquartered at the Community Center, offers year-round programs, meals, trips, and hospitality for any interested area senior. Transportation is available for Niskayuna residents aged 60 and above.

Facility Rental Information
The Niskayuna Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Niskayuna Highway Department, and under the auspices of the Niskayuna Town Board, has a variety of parks and other facilities available to individuals or groups for rental. All parks are open from 1/2 hour after sunrise to 1/2 hour before sunset. Park rules are conspicuously posted. Please pick up after your dog. Individual residents who rent a pavilion may serve alcohol with proof of at least $500,000 worth of liability insurance on homeowner policy of renter. Groups who reserve a field or caterers who serve alcohol to groups reserving a pavilion must provide proof of at least $1,000,000 worth of liability insurance. All state and local laws apply. Jeff Blatnick Park
This large park is located on River Road adjacent to the Niskayuna Transfer Station. Amenities include baseball fields, skate park, playground, pond, basketball courts, driving range, covered pavilion, bathrooms, tennis courts and Mohawk River and Bike Path access.
Pavilion may be reserved at cost of $25 per use.
Baseball fields home of Niskayuna Baseball from April 1 through December 15 each year.
River Road Park
This park is located on River Road near the intersection with Rosendale Road. Amenities include tot lot; pavilion with bathrooms; softball fields; basketball court; large, open area and natural walking area. Tennis courts and playground located behind park at schools. Pavilion may be reserved at cost of $50 per use. Softball fields home of Niskayuna Girls Softball from April 1 through July 31 each year.
Avon Crest Park
This park is located off Westmoreland Drive in the Avon Crest development. Amenities include playground; tennis courts; small, covered pavilion with bathrooms; basketball court; softball field; and large open area. Pavilion may be reserved at a cost of $25 per use. Softball field is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Niskayuna Soccer Park
This park is located behind Craig Elementary School on Balltown Road. Parking lot entrances on both Balltown and Zenner Roads. Amenities include 4 - 5 full sized soccer fields and 2 - 3 modified soccer fields, covered pavilion, and concession building. Home of Niskyuna Soccer Club from April 1 through August 31 each year. Fields may be reserved for a fee.
Community Center Park
This park is located behind the Niskayuna Community Center on Aqueduct Road. Amenities include large Community Center; outdoor pool; large, covered pavilion with bathrooms; and football field. Community Center may be reserved--cost is $50 per hour with 3 hour minimum. Pavilion may be reserved--cost is $50 per use. Pool is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day each summer. A variety of membership options are available. Football field home to Niskayuna Pop Warner from July 2 through December 1 each year.
Niskayuna Golf Driving Range
The Niskayuna Golf Driving Range is located in Blatnick Park. Range is open from mid-April to early September. Call the Recreation Office for hours.
Niskayuna Skate Park
Located in Blatnick Park, the Niskayuna Skate Park is open to roller blades and skate boards.
