PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR
Joseph Yakel, 914 Vrooman Ave, spoke on the subject of the New York State Safe Act and encouraged the Town Board and Supervisor to oppose this act.
Leslie Gold, 1919 Pawtucket Ave, expressed her disappointment that the Spotlight newspaper will no longer be part of our community. She asked the Town Board and Supervisor if they would update the Town of Niskayuna web site more often in regard to upcoming events and meeting.
Resolution 2013-48 authorizes the advertising for bids for the maintenance and repair of police vehicles.
Resolution 2013-49 makes certain budgetary modifications.
Resolution 2013-50 authorizes the renewal of a software database maintenance contract.
Resolution 2013-51 appoints certain employees in the highway department and the water and sewer department.
Resolution 2013-52 appoints an ad hoc member to the planning and zoning commission.
Resolution 2013-53 takes action of an application for a special use permit to allow the renovation of 10,000 square feet of vacant tenant space at 2309 Nott Street East.
Resolution 2013-54 authorizes the supervisor to enter into an agreement for the providing of internet and telephone service for the town.
Resolution 2013-55 employs additional employees in the Town’s Recreation
Program and Information Technology Department.
Resolution 2013-56 schedules a public hearing and makes a determination on SEQR for an application for a special use permit at 1521 Balltown Road.
Resolution 2013-57 authorizes repairs to a high lift pump at the water treatment plant.
Resolution 2013-58 authorizes the Supervisor to enter into a letter of intent and purchase agreement for certain town property.
There being no further business to come before the Board, Supervisor Landry, at 7:40 p.m., called for an executive session to discuss pending litigation, and a motion to adjourn occurred after the session.
