The minutes of the Special Meeting of July 10, 2001 and the Regular Meeting of July 24 were approved by the Board.
PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR
Kevin Walsh, a Planning Board member reported on progress made by the Plan 2003 Committee. The Committee has met three times and is reviewing Plan 93 issues which are objectives and implementation tasks that are in place. They are reviewing the plan to ascertain which tasks were completed, and analyzing if tasks still benefit the Town. Many reports need to be updated which the Planner will produce. Land use and future plans will be discussed and summaries of the meetings will be sent to the Town Board. By the spring 2002, they hope to make recommendations on implementing the long-range plan and what support will be needed.
SPECIAL DISTRICTS COMMITTEE
Resolution 2001-218. Authorizes the execution of an Outside Sewer User Agreement for Arthur & Patricia Loomis, owners of 111 Partridge Run.
Resolution 2001-219, authorizes the execution of an Outside Sewer User Agreement for Rocco and Wendy Rescelo, owners of 2733 Rosendale Road.
Resolution 2001-220, authorizes the execution of an Outside Sewer User Agreement for Judith Ann Giannetti, owner of 701 Lishakill Road.
Resolution 2001-221, allows the construction of a driveway over a portion of Town easement for Andrew and Sara Gavens, owners of 64 Victoria Court.
Resolution 2001-222, allows the construction of a driveway over a portion of Town easement for Louis and Robert Walsh, owners of 2176 River Road.
Resolution 2001-223, allows the construction of a fence over a portion of Town easement for Ray Hastings and Becky Dover, owners of 2226 Balltown Road.
Resolution 2001-224, authorizes a change order for video inspection equipment to TV Ferret, for the addition of a DVD system to the sewer video equipment, not to exceed $4,800.
Resolution 2001-225, authorizes payment for the cleaning of the primary digester at the Wastewater Treatment Plant of Sewer District No. 6 by Blue Heron Construction, at a cost of 4,748.16 and North American at a cost of $3,262.50.
Resolution 2001-226, appoints Edward A. Oliveri as a Water & Sewer Maintenance Worker in the Water and Sewer Department.
Resolution 2001-227, appoints Marie Yager, to the position of part-time clerk in the Tax Office, at a rate of compensation of $8.641 per hour.
Resolution 2001-228, authorizes a change to a maintenance agreement with Millar Elevator for an additional $4.50 per month for a total monthly charge of $154.50 for the contract year, September 1, 2001 to September 1, 2002.
Resolution 2001-229, appoints Gary Horton of 2383 Troy Road, as an Election Custodian and authorizes attendance at a training school August 29 and 30 in Plattsburgh at a cost of $160 plus meal and mileage expenses.
Resolution 2001-230, authorizes the disposal of composed leaves at the Water & Sewer Facility by William Biers.
Resolution 2001-231, authorizes the installation of a pad for the skateboard park at a total price of $5,500 to include labor and equipment by Callanan Industries.
Resolution 2001-232, authorizes Det. Sgt. Constantine and Ptl. Anderson to attend a Statement Analysis Seminar in Colonie on September 11-13, 2001.
Resolution 2001-233, authorizes the implementation and funding of 100% of the federal aid-eligible costs of a transportation federal-aid project and to fully fund the local share of federal-aid eligible and ineligible project costs for the Bike & Hike Trail repairs.
Resolution 2001-234, supports the Capital District Transportation Committee study on the New York Route 5 corridor.
Resolution 2001-235, calls for a public hearing September 25 to consider the adoption of legislation regulating the establishment and location of adult use businesses.
Resolution 2001-237, employs additional persons in the Recreation Department
There being no further business to come before the Town Board, the Supervisor declared the public hearing closed.
