PUBLIC HEARING

A Public Hearing was held to consider the adoption of legislation regulating the establishment and location of adult use businesses.
Councilman Chapman stated that currently the Town has no regulations on where adult uses can be located in Niskayuna.  Municipalities can regulate potential secondary impacts of adult entertainment.  A moratorium is proposed that would temporarily prohibit adult uses.
When no members of the public wished to be heard, the Supervisor closed the public hearing.

PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR

Leslie Gold, 1919 Pawtucket Avenue, stated that she hoped when the Town hires a consultant to study adult business use that there is a provision for that person to meet with the Comprehensive Plan Committee.
