AT A REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF NISKAYUNA DULY CALLED AND HELD ON THE 24TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2002, AT THE NISKAYUNA TOWN OFFICE BUILDING, ONE NISKAYUNA CIRCLE, NISKAYUNA, NEW YORK, IN SAID TOWN THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS WERE PRESENT:

TOWN CLERK’S BUSINESS
The minutes of the meeting of September 10, 2002 were approved as presented.
PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR
When no members of the public wished to be heard, the Supervisor closed Privilege of the Floor.
The following resolutions were approved with a vote of five ayes unless otherwise noted.
Resolution 2002-238 authorizes the execution of an Outside Sewer User Agreement for United Cerebral Palsy Association owner of 2120 Van Antwerp Road.
Resolution 2002-239 allows the construction of a fence over a portion of a Town easement to Sandra Daggett & Walter Guiles, owners of 1907 Village Road.
Resolution 2002-240 allows the construction of a driveway over a portion of a Town easement to Kevin & Kitty Kelly, owners of 2136 Morrow Avenue.
Resolution 2002-241 adopts the Annual Plan for 2002 for the Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Program.
Resolution 2002-242 authorizes Thomas Cannizzo to attend the Tenth Annual Capital District Building Officials Educational Conference on October 21-23 in Albany.
Resolution 2002-243 authorizes the Supervisor to enter into an agreement with Bytronics for a utility location service through DigTrack.com, at a cost of $.50 per ticket with a minimum cost of $95 per month.
Resolution 2002-244 authorizes the repair to the roof of the Town Hall to Bradley Services at a cost of $10,950 plus expenses, for replacement of roof decking, repair of the rubber membrane, and repair of copper areas.
Resolution 2002-245 employs additional persons in the Recreation Department.
Resolution 2002-246 offers appreciation to Dave Bundy for his dedicated service and generous contribution of time and talent to the Town’s soccer program and names the new field house at the Niskayuna Soccer Commons as David Bundy Soccer Field House.
Resolution 2002-247 authorizes the purchase of ammunition for the Police Department at a cost of $2,175.05.
Resolution 2002-248 appoints Ethan Polimeni of 57 Central Avenue, Niskayuna to the position of Civilian Police Dispatcher, effective September 30, at a rate of compensation of $22,612.
Resolution 2002-249 calls for a public hearing October 8, 2002 at 7 p.m. to consider the amendment of the Zoning Ordinance concerning the establishment and location of adult use businesses.
At this time, the Board voted unanimously to go into Executive Session to discuss a particular employee’s employment history. No action was taken at the session.
There being no further business to come before the Town Board, the Supervisor declared the meeting adjourned.
