Town Board Minutes 11/1/05
AT A SPECIAL MEETING OF  THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF NISKAYUNA, NEW YORK, DULY CALLED AND HELD ON THE 1ST DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2005, AT THE TOWN OFFICE BUILDING, ONE NISKAYUNA CIRCLE, NISKAYUNA, NEW YORK, THE FOLLOWING WERE IN ATTENDANCE;

        Others present:  Helen Kopke, Town Clerk; Eric Dickson, Town Attorney; Matthew Yetto, Jr. Engineer; Paul Sebesta, Comptroller; Frank Gavin, Superintendent of Highways; Lew Moskowitz, Chief of Police.

PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR
        When no members of the public wished to be heard, Supervisor Smith closed Privilege of the Floor.

SPECIAL DISTRICTS
        The following resolutions were approved with a vote of five ayes, unless otherwise noted.

        Resolution 2005-257 accepts bids for the redevelopment of wells at the Wellfield of Consolidated Water District No. 1 from Subsurface Technologies, at a bid price of $78,720 and authorizes a total project cost of $120,014 for the completion of the well redevelopment project.

        Resolution 2005-258 authorizes a change order to a bid received for the installation of electrical controls and communication equipment for six pump stations to include the Becker Street and Lishakill Road pump stations and a modification to the Master Terminal Unit at the Water & Sewer Maintenance facility, at a cost not to exceed $33,825.

GENERAL RESOLUTION
        Resolution 2005-259 approves the execution of a public employment contract with the Police Benevolent Association and the Town for 2005 and 2006.

        There being no further business to come before the Town Board, Supervisor Smith adjourned the meeting.
