AT A REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF NISKAYUNA DULY CALLED AND HELD ON THE 29TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2005, AT THE TOWN OFFICE BUILDING, ONE NISKAYUNA CIRCLE, NISKAYUNA, NEW YORK, THE FOLLOWING WERE IN ATTENDANCE:

The minutes of the meeting of November 15 were approved as presented.
PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR
Eric Hamilton, 67 Pico Road, Clifton Park, appeared representing the Mohawk Towpath By-Way. He represents Niskayuna plus seven other municipalities; Schenectady, Cohoes, and Waterford as the Department of Transportation awarded them the National Scenic By-Way status for the Mohawk Towpath By-Way.
The By-Way is the road that follows the historic Erie Canal now Aqueduct Road. The By-Way really connects a number of communities and municipalities and the Town has been an active player in obtaining the National By-Way status. He presented the Town Board with a certificate of appreciation for their continuing contribution and support.
The following resolutions were approved with a vote of five ayes unless otherwise noted.
Resolution 2005-284 authorizes execution of an Outside Sewer User Agreement with Antony Fazone, owner of 1360 Hillside Avenue.
Resolution 2005-285 authorizes the purchase of office furniture for the Water Filtration Plant site from The HON company, at a total cost of $3,463.05.
Resolution 2005-286 makes line item budgetary modifications to the 2005 budget.
Resolution 2005-287 approves the execution of a public employment contract with the Highway personnel of the Town for Local Union No. 1130, Council 66. The resolution was approved with a vote of three ayes, with Councilwoman Kasper abstaining.
Resolution 2005-288 authorizes the purchase of a Stalker DSR2X Radar, Counting Unit with accessories from Applied Concepts, at a total cost of $3,159 for which reimbursement will be received from the Stop-DWI Program.
There being no further business to come before the Town Board, Supervisor Smith declared the meeting adjourned.
