AT A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF NISKAYUNA, DULY CALLED AND HELD ON THE 29TH OF AUGUST, 2006 AT THE TOWN OFFICE, ONE NISKAYUNA CIRCLE, NISKAYUNA, NEW YORK, THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS WERE PRESENT;

The following resolutions were approved with a vote of 4 ayes unless otherwise noted (Councilman Chapman was absent)
Resolution 2006-181 authorizes a change order for materials, labor and equipment for the removal and replacement of the roofs on the digester building, mechanical building, and the lab building located at the Wastewater Treatment Plant site from Mid-State Industries, in the amount of $5,291 for a total project cost not to exceed $60,603.
Resolution 2006-182 accepts a deed and easement from Capitol Development Group, in conjunction with Vly Point condominiums by Capital Development Group.
Resolution 2006-183 authorizes the Supervisor to sign a Public Benefit Services agreement with the County of Schenectady for the improvement of the Niskayuna Bike Path.
Resolution 2006-184 appoints Harvey Randell, 887 Birchwood Lane, as a hearing officer, at a rate of $500 per day, to hear and report to the Town Board regarding a disciplinary proceeding for a member of the Police Department, and further authorizes the Supervisor to appoint a substitute or successor hearing officer on behalf of the Town Board in the event that the appointee is unable or unwilling to serve.
There being no further business to come before the Town Board, Supervisor Smith adjourned the meeting.
