AT A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF NISKAYUNA DULY CALLED AND HELD ON THE 17TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2009 AT THE NISKAYUNA TOWN BOARD ROOM, ONE NISKAYUNA CIRCLE, NISKAYUNA, NEW YORK, THE FOLLOWING MEMBERS WERE PRESENT:

Others present: Helen Kopke, Town Clerk; Eric Dickson, Town Attorney; Richard Pollock, Engineer; Frank Gavin, Superintendent of Highways; Paul Sebesta, Comptroller; and John Lubrant, Temporary Chief of Police.
The following resolutions were approved with a vote of three ayes unless otherwise noted.
Resolution 2009-188 authorizes the Supervisor to execute a grant application for a DCJS grant for a Live Scan fingerprint reader.
Resolution 2009-189 appoints John Serrano as a maintenance worker in the Water & Sewer Department.
Resolution 2009-190 rejects bids for the purchase of a bucket truck for the Highway Department.
Resolution 2009-191 approves and authorizes the purchase of one new 2010 Chevrolet Impala, with police package, at a total cost not to exceed $19,200.
Resolution 2009-192 authorizes the payment of $8,279.31 to Monroe Tractor, for the repair of the pump and drive unit on the Case Skid Steer used by the Highway Department.
Resolution 2009-193 authorizes the Supervisor to enter into a listing agreement with Coldwell Banker Commercial Prime Properties for the sale of approximately 20 acres of vacant land in the vicinity of the Recreation Center.
Resolution 2009-194 makes appointments of Soccer Referees for the Recreation Program.
There being no further business to come before the Town Board, Supervisor Landry adjourned the meeting.
