Dear Neighbor,
The building committee of Niskayuna Fire District #1 would like to extend to you an invitation to visit our fire station and meet with us regarding our building addition and renovation planning.
We are having a number of tours during which you can look around our fire station and talk with us about the challenges of our current facilities, and our plans to improve them in support of the next generation of outstanding emergency fire, rescue, and medical services.
We have also scheduled public meetings at which we will talk in more detail about the addition and renovation planning and provide opportunities for you to make suggestions, voice concerns, and ask questions.
The Board of Fire Commissioners, the governing body of Niskayuna Fire District Number 1, meets monthly to discuss Fire District matters. These meetings are open to the public and are additional opportunities for you to find out more about our fire department, including the addition and renovation planning
We feel that once you see our current facility and learn about the challenges that it presents, you will have a better understanding of and support for our addition and renovation project objectives.
