Additional Free Boxed Lunches for Seniors Tuesdays in September starting 9/8

Niskayuna Senior Center is excited to announce four more free boxed lunch dates in September. In addition to the sold out free lunches already scheduled for September 1st and September 17th, with the generous support of our community health partner CDPHP, we will have 100 boxed lunches to hand out to area seniors on each of the remaining Tuesdays this month: September 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th. Seniors will not be required to make advanced reservations as these meals will be handed out on a first come first serve basis. Indoor and outdoor seating are limited due to social distancing measures put in place due to COVID related precautions. Seniors can remain in their vehicles and receive their meal in our contactless drive thru at the designated location outside our building located at 2682 Aqueduct Road in Niskayuna, follow signs and instructions from staff at arrival. CDPHP has been providing these boxed lunches throughout the Capital District at various locations this summer in response to food insecurity and financial constraints caused by the COVID crisis.
