Town of Niskayuna Partnering with Yankee Trails & The Bus Stop Club for Fun Family Food Drive

Thursday, May 14 (Rain Date, May 15)

The Town of Niskayuna is partnering Yankee Trails and The Bus Stop Club to brighten the day of residents while collecting non-perishable items to benefit Nisky NOW a program that provides food to the families of students in need.

On Thursday, May 14th (rain date Friday, May 15th), be on the lookout for the #YTHopeBus, "Lightning McQeen" and "Waldo" as they take to the roads throughout the Town of Niskayuna, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:15 p.m.  Kickoff will be at 10:00 a.m. from Niskayuna Town Hall.

If you are able to do so, please leave donated items in a bag with handles near your mailbox or at the end of your driveway so the volunteers can easily collect the items.  Suggested donation items include:

Peanut Butter
Feminine Hygiene Products

Niskayuna Town Councilwoman Denise McGraw, Yankee Trails and The Bus Stop Club invite residents to poke your heads out, wave at the bus, show your signs, dance to the music if you like and above all else, stay safe. Don't forget to use #518RainbowHunt; #YTHopeBus; #BusStopClub when posting your photos and videos!

If your home is not on the route, you are invited to join us at Town Hall from 9:30-10:00 a.m., St Kateri Tekakwitha Church on Union Street at 3:00 p.m or Emmanuel Lutheran Church also on Union Street at 3:15.
