DID YOU KNOW: The Code of the Town of Niskayuna, section 203-17, states, 'The parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited on all highways within the Town between 3:00am and 6:00am, from November 1 to April 1.'
Section 207-1 Defines a highway as 'Any public highway, road, alley, street, avenue, path, or other public way.'

The Niskayuna Town Court has jurisdiction over a broad range of matters, including vehicle and traffic matters, small claims, evictions, civil matters, criminal offenses and violations of town ordinances occurring in the Town of Niskayuna.

PROSECUTORThe Office of the Schenectady County District Attorney prosecutes all criminal and vehicle and traffic cases. The Assistant District Attorney is only in court when court is in session. All criminal cases and vehicle and traffic misdemeanors require a personal appearance by the defendant.

TOWN JUSTICESThe Court has two Town Justices presiding over all Court proceedings, the Honorable Stephen F. Swinton, Jr. and the Honorable Peter J. Scagnelli.
